The Office Arm

Terms of service

Last updated September 21, 2026.

These are the terms for working with The Office Arm LLC, Bronx, NY. They are written to be read. If something here is unclear, ask before you sign anything.

The service

We do back-office work for contractors: the services described on this site, delivered as documents for your review and signature. We prepare; you approve. Drafts are drafts until you say otherwise.

Plans and pricing

The monthly price is the one on the pricing page for the tier you pick. It is fixed for the month. Add-ons and one-off work are priced per project, as listed, and quoted in writing before we start.

Plans are month to month. Invoices go out monthly in advance and are due on receipt. Prices can change with 30 days' written notice; a change never applies to a month already paid.

Cancellation

Give notice by the 20th and the month ends clean. Every file we hold for you is handed back within 10 business days of the last day.

What we need from you

  • Accurate and timely inputs: timesheets, plans, invoices, contracts, whatever the work needs.
  • A named contact who can answer questions and approve documents.
  • Access to the software you already use, where the work lives.
  • Your signature on every compliance document: statements of compliance on certified payroll, pay applications, permit applications and attestations.

We prepare; you sign. You remain the responsible party to the agency, the owner or the GC for what you sign and for the accuracy of what you send us.

Human review

Every compliance document is checked by a person before it is sent. A document is not final until you approve it. If a person is unsure, the document waits and you get a call.

Confidentiality

Your documents are confidential. They are used only to do your work, kept in your own folder, and returned or deleted on request when the engagement ends. We do not share them with anyone outside the work without your say-so.

Limits

We are not a law firm, an accounting firm, a licensed design professional or a payroll provider. We do not give legal or tax advice. Where a document needs a licensed professional or an officer of your company, that person signs it.

Our liability to you is capped at the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for consequential loss, including lost profit, delay damages or penalties, arising from documents you approved.

Disputes

These terms are governed by New York law. If something goes wrong, we talk first, for 30 days, before anyone files anything. Anything that cannot be settled goes to the courts of Bronx County, New York.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes and current clients are told by email before the change takes effect.
